If you could bottle up summer, I think it would taste like this tea: sweet, refreshing, delicious!
I’ve been thinking of “summery” type recipes to make lately and sweet tea was the first thing that came to my mind. Sipping a tall, cool glass of this refreshing drink on a hot summer day, maybe by the pool or on your front porch, totally picturesque right.
I feel like the taste of this tea pretty much speaks for itself, you’ll be making it over and over again to get you through the summer!
Enjoy this tea along with these long summer days!
- 10 cups water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tea bags
- 2 cups peach nectar
- sliced peaches (for garnish)
- Using a tea kettle or sauce pan, bring 10 cups of water to a boil. In your pitcher, add sugar. Once water is ready, pour into the pitcher and add in peach nectar along with tea bags ( I used two family sized tea bags) and steep for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 5 minutes remove tea bags and allow tea to cool before chilling in the refrigerator. Add fresh, sliced peaches for garnish.
- Serve over ice and peach slices if desired.
