I am so excited to make my first “life” post! I wanted to incorporate this section into my blog for all of life’s little moments. Okay, back to the post…
I can’t believe this week is behind us already! Despite our busy schedules, Kyle and I managed to squeeze in a visit to Epcot. I must say, God blessed us with picture perfect (no pun intended) weather and the mid week break was exactly what we needed.
Have any of you ever been to Epcot? If you haven’t,Epcot is one of the four amazing parks located at the Walt Disney World Resort here in Florida. It houses two major features; the world of tomorrow (which focuses on the growth of technology) and the world showcase (which features 11 countries from around the world), pretty cool right?! Right.
I consider myself so lucky to live relatively close (it’s about a 3 hour drive), so with proper planning and time management, day trips are possible. We chose Epcot on this golden afternoon to partake in Epcot’s annual Flower and Garden Festival. This time of year there are so many floral arrangements throughout the park and you’ll see numerous hedges sculpted to resemble your favorite Disney characters.
Did I mention how lucky we were with the weather?! It was 60 degrees and sunny, clear skies all day!
Now, on to the day…
Walking through the entrance of the park we were greeted by some familiar faces:
Mickey (please excuse the mysterious black sleeve)
Donald Duck and Goofy
The beautiful, bright colors of spring all throughout Epcot:
Look who we found!
It’s only fitting that strolling our way through the United Kingdom that we would run into this pirate…
and we all know that when you see Hook there’s always a hungry crocodile near by…
But where’s Peter??!!
Take my advice: if you ever want to find Pan, you gotta look up!
Now entering France:
Cinderella and Prince Charming
Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Prince Phillip
Beauty (Belle) and the Beast
and their friends…
When had lunch in Italy with Lady and Tramp:
As we circled around the world showcase we also witnessed the circle of life:
And last by not certainly not least, we took a peak at Tinkerbell’s Butterfly Garden:
Seeing the Flower and Garden Festival was a great way to welcome Spring, we can’t wait to go back!
Until next time Disney…
