This Sugar Cookie Milkshake is like a liquid, creamy Christmas cookie. That’s the best way I can think of to describe it. Smoothy, creamy with that sweet, nostalgic sugar cookie flavor that we all love this time of year.
If you love milkshakes, especially ones with creative, unique flavors – consider this a must try. My husband and I love to make our own milkshakes at home occasionally. They’re always better when you make them at home! You get the consistency, flavor and huge (or small) portion that you want.
Last year I remember having to get to shake shack before they stopped featuring their holiday edition milkshake flavors. One of them was called “Christmas Cookie” and I just had to have it! Luckily it met all my Christmas Cookie milkshake hopes & dreams and I just had to make my own version at home. So here it is!
Look at those red & green sprinks!!! ? very Christmas-y if you ask me ?
To achieve sugar cookie flavor I relied on none other than…sugar cookie mix! I love baking, cooking & making things from scratch but I also love incorporating baking mixes into recipes. Like when I made these cake batter popsicles I used vanilla cake mix. It provided great flavor to the recipe. Or my brownie batter hot chocolate – I used brownie mix to give the recipe a unique, rich chocolatey taste. Same goes for today’s shake. Sugar cookie mix give us that sweet, sugar cookie flavor that popular this time of year.
